Shri Shirdi Saibaba Temple of DesMoines (SSST) is a place of worship for any individual who believes in Shri Shirdi Saibaba principles. This temple follows Traditions and Rituals practiced at Shirdi sai temple, Shirdi, Maharashtra, India. SSST also provides a platform to participate, practice and celebrate the cultural, educational and charitable activities.
Located on 2.237 Acres of beautiful flat land in Grimes city, 3 miles from Hyway 141 N exit on Interstate 35/80, SSST offers a peaceful and serene environment for Meditation and Prayers.
The thought of having a place of worship for Sai Community started in early 2015 and 9 Sai devotee families have initiated the movement, registered ‘Shri Shirdi Saibaba Temple of DesMoines (SSST)’ as a non-profit organization in July 2015. With the dedication and hard work of several devotees and donors, the dream of building Sai temple in Iowa has come true in March 2021. A milestone event in the history of Iowa as the heartland that provides Diversity and Cultural heritage. A peaceful journey of SSST thus began to make a positive change, bring in peace and happiness to all Sai devotees, their families and friends.
